    Observance of Birthday of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose

    The 161st birth anniversary of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose (1858 - 1937), the founder of modern science in the Indian subcontinent, will be observed at the Institute in a celebratory tenor. A prominent person will be invited from an Institute, - like the Bose Institute, to deliver a public talk on the life and works of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose.

    A photographic exhibition depicting the life and work of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose will be inaugurated on the occasion.
