Vascular Biology group would contribute and compliment understanding in health and disease pathophysiology. The main interests are in neurodegenerative diseases, aging, tumor microenvironment and tissue regeneration, where the focus will be in addressing the cellular components and blood vessel physiology in terms of structural and functional contribution in homeostasis. These devastating diseases are formidable challenges in clinic. There is an unmet need to conduct research to understand, and combat therapy resistance and improve patient survival.
Along with these, we are interested in nanoscience, bio-engineering and safety & health engineering, for development and application of smart products.
