About


Dr. Sekhar Mandal is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at IIEST Shibpur, India. He has joined in the institute in the year 2000. His research interests span the broad area of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Image Processing.
He has completed his B.Tech and M.Tech from the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, the University of Calcutta in the year 1991 and 1993 respectively. He has completed his Ph.D. in the year 2007 from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur.
