Subhadip Chakraborty

About


Dr. Subhadip Chakraborty has obtained his Ph. D. as a DST INSPIRE Fellow from the Dept. of Electronic Science, University of Calcutta under the mentorship of Prof. Sanatan Chattopadhyay and Prof. Anupam Karmakar. He has completed Masters in Physics (Specialization in Electronics) from Banaras Hindu University and graduated with Physics Honours from A.B.N. Seal College under University of North Bengal. Before joining IIEST Shibpur, he worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences with Prof. Rajib K. Mitra.

Dr. Chakraborty’s primary research interests include Experimental Biophysics and Bioelectronics. He has published 17 articles in International journals of high repute (Including ACS, Elsevier, Springer and Wiley-VCH) and has several conference publications. He has also presented his work in several prestigious conferences as a contributory and invited speaker. He is a peer reviewer of a number of international journals. He has been associated with a number of nationally and internationally funded projects related to the development of biomedical electronic systems with high societal relevance.

Dr. Chakraborty has been awarded with DST AWSAR Award for excellence as a Scientific Communicator.
