Acquired overall experience of 30 years 5 months in industry, academics/teaching, research, administration among which industry experience acquired is 12 years 2 months in Govt, academic/teaching experience acquired is 13 years 1 month, research experience acquired is 5 years 2 months in Govt with non-academic administrative experience of 17 years 2 months in Govt. and academic administrative experience of 4 years as Director, HOD, Vice Principal.
Started my professional career in Indian Statistical Institute in November 1987 as Project Assistant (1987-1988), served in Govt. in industry as Statistical Officer (1988-2000). Thereafter served in regular academic/ teaching positions in Higher Educational Institutes (HEI) recognised by UGC/AICTE/MCI during 2001 – 2013 viz. Lecturer for 1 year 3 months , Assistant Professor for 2 years 10 months , Reader for 3 years 8 months, Associate Professor/Vice Principal/Professor for 4 years 1 month, Professor and HOD for 2 years 10 months and in Govt. as Director-cum-HOO (2013 – 2018).and in academic position as Director (2019-2020) in an Higher Educational Institute recognised by the AICTE.
Undertook/Pursued Research work for PhD programme in Business Administration in a State Govt. University of West Bengal recognized by UGC and Ph.D work completed in the year 2014. Doctorate/PhD (in Business Administration) degree awarded by the Burdwan University. Title : “A Study of Foreign Trade of India - Export Performances and Related Policies since 1980 ”.
