About

Dedicated and accomplished Materials Engineer with a comprehensive skill set spanning materials engineering, safety management, and academic expertise. Over a decade of experience in the field, starting as a Masters student at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, where I contributed to the development of polymer films for organic photovoltaics as a buffer layer.

My journey continued at James Cook University, where I assumed the role of Research Assistant. During my PhD thesis, I oversaw critical marine and medical fouling analysis of polymer coatings, ensuring precise results by employing cutting-edge digital microscopy and confocal microscopy techniques.

My academic journey continues as Assistant Professor at the Department of Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, where I continue to specialize in polymer coating fabrication and their characterization for medical and marine use.

My commitment to materials engineering, and academic excellence is underpinned by my effective problem-solving skills and a track record of introducing innovative ideas into my work environment. With an unwavering passion for materials engineering and a dedication to advancing the field, I am well-prepared to contribute to the next generation of breakthroughs in this dynamic discipline.
