Dr. Chirasree RoyChaudhuri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur. She has been engaged in interdisciplinary research in the area of electrical biosensors, chemical sensors and related signal processing with the aim to develop point of care devices. She is a recipient of Young Engineer Award from Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Young Scientist Award from National Academy of Science, India (NASI) and Institute of Smart Materials Structures and Systems and Women Excellence Award from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She is a member of Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) and an Associate Editor of the IEEE Sensors journal.
