    National Science Day Celebration 2024 organized by the IIC6.0 (Institution's Innovation Council) of IIEST Shibpur on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Sir C.V Raman on February 28th, 2024 at 2:30 pm in the Alumni Seminar Hall of the Institute

    IIC6.0 (Institution's Innovation Council) has celebrated  National Science Day to mark the discovery of Raman effect by Sir C.V. Raman on February 28th, 2024 at 2:30 pm in the Alumni Seminar Hall of the Institute along with the invited students from the nearby Schools. Honorable Director Prof. Parthasarathi Chakrabarti sir has delivered the welcome address by pointing out the importance of innovations in strengthening the Society. Prof. Debasis Datta, Dean, International Relations and Alumni Affairs (Acting as Dean Academic) has delivered a short speech on the occasion.    
    Prof. Ananda Dasgupta from IISER Kolkata  has Delivered a popular talk on 'The beauty of fractals'.
    Dr. Papu Biswas from the department of Chemistry has demonstrated ' Chemistry with Color', Dr. Syed Minhaz Hossain, Department of Physics has demonstrated different type of 'Light scattering' and  Dr.Joydeep Bhowmik, Department of Aerospace Engineering has demonstrated the basics of drone flying. Finally, Dr. Bidyut Pal, Convener, IIC6.0 gave the vote of thanks.
