    Reservation Cell

    In pursurance to the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Prosonnel, Public Grievance and Pension, Government of India vide Office Memorandum No. 43011/153/2010 - Estt. (Reg.) dated 4 th January, 2013 (copy enclosed) regarding nomination of Liasion Officers and setting up a Special Reservation Cell in each Ministry/Department for enforcement of orders of reservation in posts and services of the Central Govenrment, "a Special Reservation Cell" is hereby created wih the following members in the Institute under the direct control of the Liasion Officers for enforcement of orders of reservation in posts and services of the Institute with immediate effect.
    Prof. Binay Krishna Ghorai, Professor, Dept. of Chemistry shall work as Liasion Officer for SCs/STs & PwD in respect of matters relating to the representation of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Persons with Disabilities.
    Prof. Susanta Kumar Parui, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering shall work as Liasion Officer for OBCs in respect of matters relating to the representation of the Other Backward Classes.

    Special Reservation Cell consists of the following members:
