2nd International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Industrial Pollution Control was organized in Online mode by Civil Engineering Department, IIEST, Shibpur, during December 16 – 18, 2020. The Conference was inaugurated by the honorable Director Prof. Parthasarathi Chakrabarti and illuminated by Dr. Sukumar Devotta, Former Director, CSIR-NEERI as the chief Guest and Mr. Atanu Sanyal, Chief General Manager (TS & HSE), Haldia Refinery, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. as the Guest of Honor. There were 4 (four) Keynote Lectures delivered by the eminent speakers including Dr. Sukumar Devotta, Prof. Sachchida Nand Tripathi, Prof. Babu J. Alappat and Prof. Somnath Mukherjee. Technical papers were presented in 9 (nine) Theme areas related to industrial pollution control. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Best Paper Awards were presented to the Presenters of three top scored papers.
