Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur has started a 5 year Dual Degree programme from the academic session 2014-15. Programme in the B. Arch course offered by Department of Architecture, Town and Regional Planning, being a 5 year programme, remains unaltered and runs in parallel with the new 5 year dual degree (B.Tech. and M.Tech.) programme and old 4 year B.E. programme. The institute proudly acknowledges the presence of the last two batches of the old 4 year B.E. programme in 9 Engineering Departments.
