This has opened up a plethora of new opportunities for entrepreneurship development with a significant component of field research activities aimed at developing less carbon emitting technologies, ensuring low carbon design to plants and processes and deliver packages related to clean energy sources within defined cost targets for the common man. Thus TCGTBI aims for the creation and promotion of technology based Entrepreneurship in Low Carbon Emission Technologies in two broad areas – Energy sector (Renewable energy, Solar PV, Green EED, Green Fuel, Green components in Planning at Local and Regional Level, Green Building and construction materials) and Non-Energy sector ( Green Packaging, Bioengineering, Green lifestyle and Green Rural technology, jute based Geo textiles and construction materials.)
