    The open Ph.D. defense seminar and viva-voce examination of Mr. Bikshan Chakraborty (Registration No: 2020MAPR046, dated-06/09/2020) on his Ph.D. thesis entitled “NUMERICAL RADII OF SOME WEIGHTED SHIFT OPERATORS” will be held on Friday, 10th October 2025 at 4 pm in the Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur.

    Mr. Bikshan Chakraborty has worked under the supervision of Dr. Sarita Ojha, Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur. Prof. V. Vetrivel, Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai 600 036, India, will be present as External Expert in online mode. All interested faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate students are cordially invited to be present at the seminar.
