    The open Ph.D. defence seminar and viva-voce examination of Mrs. Riya Das (Registration No: 2021MAPR003, dated 11th October 2021) on her Ph.D. thesis entitled “Mathematical Modelling and Qualitative Analysis of Epidemic Dynamics: Age Structure, Control Strategies, and Diffusive Wave Phenomena” will be held on Thursday, 12th March 2026 at 11:30 AM in the Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur.

    Mrs. Riya Das has carried out her research work under the supervision of Prof. Tapan Kumar Kar, Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur. Prof. Balram Dubey, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani–333031, Rajasthan, will be present as the External Expert in online mode. All interested faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate students are cordially invited to attend the seminar.
