NOTICE

The open Ph.D. defence seminar and viva-voce examination of Mr. Gautam Kumar (PhD Registration No. 2021MAPR008 date October 11, 2021) on his Ph.D. thesis entitled “Some Decision Making Inventory Problems with Different Types of Demand” will be held on Monday, 6th April 2026 at 3 PM in the Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur.

Mr. Gautam Kumar has worked under the joint supervision of  Prof. Guruprasad Samanta, Department of Mathematics, IIEST, Shibpur, and Prof. Manoranjan Maiti (Former Professor), Department of Applied Mathematics, Vidyasagar University. Prof. Uttam Kumar Bera, Professor, Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Agartala will be present as External Expert. All interested faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate students are cordially invited to be present at the seminar.
