Ms. Alisha Mondal, a research scholar at the School of Community Science & Technology under the supervision of Dr. Shantonu Roy, has been awarded the 3rd prize at the one-day National Conference on "Frontiers in Nutrition: Challenges and Opportunities for a Healthier Tomorrow", organized by the Department of Physiology, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, on February 15, 2025.

She presented her research titled “Study of the Probiotic and Prebiotic Potential of Nonstarter Lactic Acid Bacteria Originating from Exotic Plant Leaves.”
