The Constitution Day is celebrated in India every year on the 26th of November, the date on which, in 1949, the constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly. It has been planned to observe the 70th Constitution Day in the most befitting manner to spread the importance of the constitution of India and its significance in the growth and the development of the country. The day will be celebrated by organizing various quiz, essay and speech competitions amongst students. Suitable lectures and seminars may also be organized focusing on the salient features of our constitution. This year, the stress will be on holding a mock parliament session where students may discuss and debate on a mock Bill related to an important national issue
