Suvarun Dalapati

Dr. Suvarun Dalapati specializes in the field of Power Electronics, Machine Drives and Applications of Digital Control/Controllers in Electrical Applications. After his doctoral study, he has worked for nearly six years in industry, designing power electronic converters, inverters and battery-chargers for Indian Railways and some DAE Centers. In June 2013, he joined the faculty of Electrical Engineering at IIEST Shibpur.

Suvarun Dalapati is working in the following areas:

  • Microprocessor/Microcontroller based applications

At present his chief research interest is in the field of Power Electronic Converter - topologies and control, battery chargers and industrial inverters. He also takes interest in the field of applications of Power Electronic Converters in the area of Power Systems.
