Dr. Rajkumar Ghosh is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Temp) in the Department of Earth Sciences of the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur. He has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Earth Sciences, IIT Bombay, for three (3) years. He received his Ph.D. in Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, in 2022. He has contributed his structural and field Geology skills. He has been actively engaged as a researcher and academician. He has done a Bachelor of Science with Geology (Hons). He has five years of teaching and research experience. He has qualified UGC-NET (DEC-2013) in Geology and GATE (2011, 2014) in Geology. Currently, He has supervised two M.Sc. theses. He is the author of two technical books.
