About

My primary research interest is in multimedia security and forensics. Currently, I am working in the domain of Digital Forensics, which involves blind investigation and recovery of digital evidence with an aim to thwart cybercrime. My recent research interest also includes exploring efficient computerized solutions for challenges faced in different other domains, such as material science engineering, bio-science, food technology, etc. Mostly, the solutions adopted by us are based on image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. I had been affiliated with the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, for over five years (2014 to 2019), as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
