My research is broadly based on developing Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, with a focus on Process Monitoring of Advanced Manufacturing Processes and their Numerical Modelling for providing feedback control of the system using data driven approach. Most of my past work as a Research Consultant and as a Post Doc is centered around Addiitve Manufacturing of high entropy alloys and their process-parameter-property relationships.
I have extensive research work in the processing of cellular structures and metal foams (which was also a part of my PhD thesis work) aiming to process lightweight, high-performance materials for aerospace and biomedical applications. By combining experiments, simulations, and data-driven methods, my work seeks to develop smart, adaptive, and sustainable manufacturing systems that can bridge fundamental science and actual industrial applications.
