Mr. Subojit Debnath, M. Tech student (Specialization: Transportation Engineering) supervised by Prof. Sudip Kumar Roy and Prof. Sk Sohel Islam was awarded the Best Presentation Award at the All India Young Scientists Conclave held on January 10–11, 2026, for his presentation titled “Why Public Transport Users Abandon Transit After Buying Cars; A Behavioural Evidence from an Explainable Machine Learning Framework.”
