None of the applicants are found suitable for interview leading tothe admission in the PG courses, offered by the Metall urgy and Materials Department, in i) Iron and Steel Technology and ii) Surface Engineering for the academic year 2016-16
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for admission in 2-year full time M.Tech. program in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering for 2016-17 session in the following two specializations.
1. Iron and Steel Technology
2. Surface Engineering
Eligibility criteria:
(i) Iron and Steel Technology: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or equivalent in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Industrial Engineering and Materials Engineering.
(ii) Surface Engineering: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or equivalent in Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramic, Electronics and Telecommunication; Master of Science in Physics/Applied Physics, Chemistry/Applied Chemistry and Materials Science.
No. of seats: 8 in each specialisation. (OC: 4, SC: 1, ST: 1, OBC: 2). Last date of application is 14.09.2016. Interview date: 16.09.2016.
