I joined the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur (IIESTS) in 2023, marking a new chapter in my academic and research journey. Prior to this, I accumulated valuable experience as a Research Establishment Officer for one year and eight months at the High-speed Aerodynamics Lab at IIT Kanpur. My tenure at IIT Kanpur exposed me to various research environments, including pivotal stints at esteemed facilities such as the National Wind Tunnel Facility and the Fire Studies Lab. My academic background includes a Ph.D. from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Throughout my doctoral studies, I delved into the fascinating realm of supersonic aerodynamics, focusing specifically on the screeching behavior emanating from different nozzle configurations at high Mach numbers. My research interests span a wide spectrum within the field of aerospace engineering. I am particularly passionate about investigating free and impinging jet acoustics, Wall jets and Shock-Boundary Layer Interactions, and exploring innovative techniques for both active and passive flow control aimed at mitigating jet noise and enhancing mixing efficiency.
