Bhaskaran Barman has received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College (DU), Shibpur, in 2004. He has done M.E.(Specialization:-Power Electronics, Machine and Drives) in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, in 2008. He has two(02) years of Industry experience. He joined as a faculty of Electrical Engineering at IIEST, Shibpur, in May 2013. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of E.E. Before joining IIEST Shibpur, he has served Mallabhum Institute of Engineering (2008-2009), Bishnupur, and College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat (2009-2013) as an assistant professor. His area of research work is power electronic converter and High-frequency Induction Heating. He has completed two (02) research sponsored projects. He is a Member of IEEE(IAS).
