Since its origin, the department has strived to make its mark in diverse research fronts, one of the major among them being Signals, Systems, Communication and Hardware Security. This laboratory, where the major research focal areas are Cyber Security, Hardware Security, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Signal Processing & Communication Systems, has produced a number of PhD students in the past, and several PhD students are associated at present too. Several sponsored projects, as well as national and international collaborations, have been conducted by the faculty members associated with this laboratory. They have published their research in journals and conferences of international repute.
