Research Area

Topic: Tectonic Geomorphology

Fluvial landforms, shaped by river systems, are intimately connected to both tectonics and geomorphology, as the changing tectonic landscape can dictate river courses and their erosional or depositional activities. Sedimentology further complements this relationship by deciphering the intricate sedimentary record. So, tectonic geomorphology combines principles from tectonics and geomorphology to decipher how geological processes shape landforms over time.
